    ELC 3025 - Anchoring Early Literacy through Art  

    • Course Dates: May 10, 2024 – June 12, 2024
    • Target Audience: Older Toddlers, Threes, PreK & VPK Teachers
    •  Stipend $450.00
    • 30 In-service Hours 30 or 3 CEUs & Stipend $450.00
    • All coursework must be completed by June 12, 2024, to receive the stipend,

    Early literacy and art complement each other in early childhood education. Art is an activity that supports free play in early childhood classrooms. The freedom to manipulate different materials in an organic and unstructured way allows for exploration and experimentation. Children learn various skills, including math, fine motor, science, and language. This course is hands-on and rich with learning opportunities.
